With years of experience influencing planning, public policy and municipal development, and possessing experience ranging from field operations to executive levels, Shane Silsby offers his expansive career within government agencies and the private sector to make him an ideal fit for providing strategic assistance. As an effective and intuitive leader dedicated to fostering cultures that promote individual integrity, ownership of the overall process, and creative solutions to complex issues, he offers a breadth of experience in addition to fair, ethical, responsible decision making and appropriate resource management, including:
• Strategic Leadership: Substantial success driving unique initiatives while shaping a compelling vision and leading change through collaboration and consensus building across a myriad of stakeholders with sometimes conflicting perspectives and agendas.
• Program Management: Possess extensive experience directing multi-disciplinary programs and bring a wealth of knowledge on environmental issues and impacts, sustainable site development, as well as applicable regulatory requirements. Successfully executed numerous multimillion dollar municipal projects, acting as an Executive Sponsor or Project Leader to ensure all deliverables were met on time and within budget.
• Policy & Process Reform: Leading the way for policy changes and system process modernization - instrumental advocate for state and federal legislation that elicited changes in California state law as well as revisions in federal bills to enhance the delivery of capital projects and streamline funding to local agencies.
